Volunteering Opportunities
Hey guys! We have another Lockdown Link for you all! We have received many enquiries from aspiring medics who are currently looking for volunteering opportunities. In response, we have been in talks with the Pears Foundation who have partnered with the National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to support 28 NHS Trusts across England to develop and embed high-quality, inclusive opportunities for young people to engage with their local NHS.
Below you will find the link for the various Trusts that they have worked with to create volunteering opportunites for youths in the UK.
Places remain limited, but we recommend you register your with the nearest NHS Trust by contacting the hospitals with the provided emails.
Although this may seem like a great opportunity, the TAMS Team make one plea with you all. In view of the current pandemic, please make sure you thoroughly discuss with your parents/carers concerning the advantages and disadvantages of volunteering at this time before you complete any applications.
