TAMS x International undergraduate surgical society

On Saturday & Sunday 12-13th March, TAMS outreach restarted our in-person workshops aimed at sixth form students from WP backgrounds at the the 11th annual iNUGSC conference at UCL.

Our TAMS volunteers travelled from med schools all over the country to run 3 interactive workshops for the aspiring medical students including;

1. How to get into Medical School
2. Mock Medical School interviews
3. Basic Life Support - CPR

We had such a fantastic time working with students from across the capital. Heres some the feedback we received:

“The reason I enjoyed these workshops was because I was able to freely speak to the medicine students and ask them questions about how they got into medicine. It really gave me and insight into what I should be doing in order to study medicine at university.”

“Mock interviews provided me good insight to what I should expect in the future”
